Sumi-e workshop in Spring report@Le saint Opera.(English below↓）

春の水墨画、開催場所は新宿五丁目にあるカフェバー、ルサントオペラです。

普段は夜八時からのみの営業ですが、今回は水墨画のために特別に日曜日の午後のお店を開放していただきました。

和洋折衷の美しい空間の中で、ゆったりと墨をすり、作品と向き合う贅沢な時間を過ごしました。

初めての生徒さんも多い中、みなさん素晴らしい力作ができて、私も大変嬉しいです↓

そして、今回のワークショップではお教室が終わったあとに、ルサントオペラにてゆっくりお茶会をしました。

みんなで描いた作品を見せ合ったり、水墨画について話したり、個々に好きなものの話などをして、のんびりとした昼下がりを満喫！

次回の水墨画ワークショップは6月30日（日）と7月15日（祝・月）を予定しております。

Sumi-e workshop in spring was hold at Le saint Opera in Shinjuku, Tokyo.

The cafe was opening from 8pm usually, but that was open in Sunday’s afternoon for our workshop this time.

We spent present time to make real charcoal ink in the special environment of Japanese and Western space.

Everybody got great works even though most of them are beginner’s students this time, so I’m very happy about that.

And we had tea party after we finish practices of Sumi-e at the same place.

All enjoyed slow afternoon by showing works, talking about Sumi-e and some favorates.

Next Sumi-e workshop is going to be in 30th June and 15th July, 2013.

Would you like to touch the sense of Sumi-e in beautiful  Japanese Western atmosphere? You can make 50×50 Sumi-e picture board by theme of Spring. The workshop contents will be enjoyable for beginners too. Please come and see with all your friends.

2pm~4pm painting time

4pm~5pm tea time and showing sumi-e works time

FEE:　3500yen

with tools and papers(everything for painting sumi-e) including any 1 drink.(you can order more if you want.)

Opening Reception @Le saint Opera in Shinjuku

新宿五丁目のLe saint Operaにて掛け軸を展示、ライブペインティングを開催しました。

金曜日の夜に美味しいフィンガーフードをつまみながら、とても楽しく非日常の雰囲気を満喫。

お越しいただいたお客さまに、バンドネオン奏者の仁詩さんもいらしたので、素敵な演奏も披露していただいて、大満足なオープニングになりました。

私のライブペインティングのモチーフは藤。

いつになく観客が近いということで、少しいつもと違う距離感でしたが、集中して作品を完成させることが来ました。

二日後には水墨画ワークショップも企画しているので、頑張ります。

I hold sumi-e scroll exhibition opening event with live painting at Le saint Opera in Shinjuku.

It was enjoyable amerging atmosphere to eat delicious finger foods at friday night.

We  had bandoneon player as guest and he played some songs for us as short live, so it was great present time for all of us for opening reception.

My live painting was wisteria, and the audience was very close to look that very different from usual live painting, however I finish my work with good concentration.

I will try hard for workshop coming up 2 days later.
