最終週の課題は風景画でしたが、希望者によっては暑中見舞いやうちわ、扇子などにも変更しました。

既に今月二回目の生徒さんも何人かいたので、だいぶ水墨画のコツをつかんできたようです。

絵が苦手、描いたことがほとんどない、という人ほど、かなりのびのびとした墨絵が描けるので、不思議。

The last week of June topic was landscape, but some students tried different stuff if they want.

There are some students who came several times in this month, so they got some idea for sumi-e art technics already.

It’s wonderful that students who has almost no experience for normal painting can have pretty good strokes by sumi-e blush.

May be they don’t have stereo-type for ordinary sketches.

If they have good motivation during drawing, it’s fun to try easy Japanese Calligraphy besides sumi-e!

第三週目の課題は暑中お見舞いの葉書き。

夏らしいモチーフに加えて、希望者は書道にも挑戦してみました。

日ごろからお世話になっている方々へ、感謝の一筆！

とても味わい深い、心のこもった作品ができましたよ。

だんだん筆に慣れてくると、自分らしい線が出てくるので、大切にしていきたいところです。

The third week’s topic is summer greeting cards.

Some people try Japanese calligraphy if they wants.

There are some interesting taste as Sumie work.

After people know how to use the blush, they can get some good lines…,

so it’s the good point of  Sumie for yourself.

墨絵教室も第二週目に入りました！

今週の作品は扇子とうちわ作りです。

暑い夏を涼しい墨絵で楽しみたいですね！

うちわは平面なので描きやすのですが、扇子は折れ目があるので、慣れるまで描くのが難しいので、気合が大切！

好きな夏のモチーフの中から好きなものを選んで、素敵な扇子とうちわができましたよー。

墨のにおいが落ち着くという意見もあり、とても癒される時間となりました。

真剣な取り組みで、素晴しい出来栄えの作品です！

We are heading up to second week!

This week’s topics are folding fun and round fun.

Let’s enjoy hot summer with Cool Sumi-e work.

Round fun is easier than folding fun to draw, the folding fun needs strong spirit to make it flat while you are drawing.

You can choose the one you like from Summer motifs, then make good funs!

A student said the smell of Sumi makes them very calm and we had good relaxing time.

Everybody made wonderful work in serious job!
